TAX REBATES FOR VACANT COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS

If a portion or all of your Commercial or Industrial building was vacant for at least 90 consecutive days in 2009, you may be eligible for a rebate on the property taxes you paid in 2009. Applications for rebates are now available at the Southgate Administration Centre or click here. 

The eligibility requirements for this vacancy program are stated on the form and the deadline to submit applications for a rebate of
2009 taxes is Feb 28, 2010.

SALE OF SURPLUS LAND

The Council of the Township of Southgate intends to sell the following land:
Lot 40 (approx .47 ha.) being created from Block 41 on the south side of the east storm water pond located in the Hoffman subdivision, Registered Plan 16M-5, Concession 3 EGR, Part of Lot 65 (Egremont).

This property was declared as surplus land to the needs of the Township on November 18, 2009 by Resolution No. 416-09.

This notice is in accordance to the Township of Southgate’s By-law No. 3-2008, being a by-law to adopt policies with respect to the sale and other disposition of land.

DUNDALK MEMORIAL PARK SWIMMING POOL UPGRADES TENDER
