 NOTICE OF THE PASSING OF AN AMENDMENT
TO THE TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE DEVELOPMENT CHARGES BY-LAW 23-2010

 TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Township of Southgate passed By-law 46-2010, an amendment to Development Charges By-law 23-2010, on the 7th day of July, 2010 under section 10 of the Development Charges Act, 1997;
AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or organization may appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board under Section 14 of the Act, in respect of the Development Charge By-law, by filing with the Clerk of the Township of Southgate on or before the 16th day of August, 2010 a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the by-law and the reasons supporting the objection.

The amendment is as follows:

New clause: Section 3.11 Non Residential Exemption
Notwithstanding the provision of By-law 23-2010, development charges shall not be imposed with respect to the first 2,500 square feet of non-residential gross floor area of a new building constructed in the designated Urban Area.

WATER CONSERVATION
OUTDOOR WATER USAGE

The Township of Southgate has imposed restrictions in accordance with
By-Law #87-2006 in the Village of Dundalk during the months of June, July, August & September.
Until further notice outdoor water usage is restricted to:
Between the hours of 7 pm and 9 pm on the north side of Main Street on even numbered calendar days and the south side of Main Street on odd numbered calendar days.
